Have Your Water Well Inspected Now So It’s Ready for Some Summer Fun

You’re going to need plenty of clean water in your well to fill the water balloons for your family’s annual summer throwdown. You’ll win this year; don’t worry. King Water Wells can inspect your water well now to make sure everything is a-okay with the well, the well pump, and the water itself. Once we’ve given your well and water the thumbs-up, the sky is the limit for your summer water activities. Let’s throw some ideas out there in this blog post.

The Balloon Throwdown

Let’s get ready to rumble! Fill plenty of ammo and establish your bases. The fresh water from your water well is perfect for the balloons. Divide the balloons evenly between the combatants and head to your forts. Blow a whistle or choose some other form of “Go!” and get to it. Throw the water balloons at your enemies with all of your might, but keep in mind that the balloons can hurt. Only take body shots; don’t aim for faces. This game is also not good for little ones, so take your frustrations out on your teens.

Sprinkler Tag

A game that is good for the toddlers is sprinkler tag. With your water well full of fresh water, turn on the yard’s sprinklers and designate who’s it. Then make a rule that you can only run away from “it” in the water. Running outside of the sprinklers’ reach is out of bounds and automatically disqualifies you. You can even set a rule that if anyone runs out of bounds, they are immediately it. Let your toddlers win to boost their confidence and self-esteem. You can also play Red Rover in the sprinklers.

Super Soaker Mayhem

Another game that is good for your teens and pre-teens is Super Soaker mayhem. Grab the Super Soaker guns and fill them with water from your well. Establish forts like you would if you were playing water balloon throwdown. Take cover in your forts and then start the game. Use the trees and other yard foliage as hiding places, or attack someone from above by climbing a sturdy tree.

Homemade Water Slide

Finally, if you have plenty of large tarps laying around, lay them out in a row on a steady incline in your yard. Make sure the incline isn’t too steep so nobody gets hurt. Turn on the garden hose and set it at the top of the tarps so the water runs down them. Use two hoses if you have them and they will both reach. Take turns sliding down the tarps on your backs, bellies, or behinds if you prefer.
